We Create-Learn-Grow Everyday!!!

Our Philosophy centres around the belief that children possess great power and a natural curiosity when it comes to learning. To nurture this, we prioritise creating an inquiry-rich play based environment. Our approach involves working alongside families and the local schools to honour and build on each child’s unique strength’s and abilities, while celebrating diversity. This fosters a sense of competence in children and enhances their motivation to learn, and to feel like they belong.

We firmly believe that providing a safe and secure environment, and positive relationships between management, staff, families and the children is key to encouraging children to feel safe and supported, and to take risks in their learning journey. We feel like what we have provided is a home away from home, we recognise that this helps them develop the resilience needed to face life’s challenges with confidence.

We strive to foster a sense of community by building relationships and connections, utilising support services within our local area. We recognise the value of building strong partnerships and relationships within the local community and schools, and actively participate in school events, and advertise local community events to strengthen these ties.

At Tiny Kingdom we believe that children best understand and engage with their surroundings through play based experiences that are meaningful to them. To felicitate this, we actively involve them in the decision-making processes, listen to their perspectives, and value their individuality. This approach enables us to scaffold and enhance their learning, meaning children are active participants and decision makers in their own learning.

As a community, we recognise and honour the Noongar people as the traditional owners of the land. We are committed to providing learning experiences that reflect the aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures. Similarly, we encourage everyone to be proud of who they are and share their cultures and family values. 6. Positive relationships are built through close collaboration and support between staff, children and families to create a nurturing environment, together we are the A team
